Wimbledon? Did that already happen?!

It seems like we have been given a pretty clear answer to the question: Which sport captures people attention those most. Tennis, or Football?

The last few weeks have seen the UK host the most prestigious competition in tennis. Maybe you heard something about it when there was a pause in the noise from the Vuvuzellas?

The game’s were epic. World number 1, Roger Federer was taken within points of being knocked out in the first round. John Isner and Nicolas Mahut battled out a game so long, it was exhausting just to watch! The match lasted 11 hours, 5 minutes, and is a world record. Nadal eventually won his second Wimbledon title. Aged only 24 people are beginning to ask if he is now one of the greatest players of all time? With a good 6 years left in his career he already has 8 grand slams, and is fast closing in on Federer’s record 16 titles…

Tennis Players of All Time. Rank it on Facebook!

Maybe its a question of taste and style. There are those (such as my weird master Shai ) who think everything Federer touches turns to gold. Others (particularly women who like muscular arms!) prefer the spunky nature of Nadal. He is more human. You can see the emotion on his face. Federer, on the other hand (like his idol Bjorn Borg) is almost like a robot.

So, to use a movie reference, it is like the characters of TopGun. The question is, who do you prefer; Maverick? Or an Ice Man ……

Whatever your view… get ranking!
